Modelling Notes for individual aircraft
- One of the few chances to build a Manchester seen in the area must be L7393 and L7280. On 18th May L7393 was on a test flight when the starboard engine failed and Perranporth was the only possible landing ground. Unfortunately it overshot and was destroyed but the crew survived. L7280 brought an investigating team to look at the faulty engine (source: Manchester by Robert Kirby, pub: Midland Counties). L7393 was EM.V, the code for L7280 is unknown.
